Comptoir des mers, for a seafood platter from Normandy

Here’s someone who’s cast his net wide and caught a whole ocean full of delicious flavours! With a fisherman father and two brothers who are fishmongers, it’s perhaps natural that Xavier Auguet would open a seafood restaurant. And there’s no need to go all the way to the ocean to enjoy a seafood platter worthy of the name, because Le Comptoir des Mers is right here in Paris. It’s a chic fish shop with a counter, but also a traditional yet trendy restaurant where you can enjoy the fruits de mer direct from Normandy. Sole, salmon, sea bream and much more, cooked with remarkable simplicity and mastery. The other good news is that you can also have your seafood platters delivered ... and where better than to the Hotel Fabric? JR.
