The famous Da Michele pizzeria from Naples opens in Paris 11: authentic Neapolitan pizza just steps from Bastille.

Pizza lovers know Da Michele, the historic Neapolitan pizzeria where people line up for hours just to enjoy the experience.
A Neapolitan institution in the heart of Paris
Since 1870, the Condurro family has carried on a unique know-how in Naples: the art of traditional Neapolitan pizza. Their address on Via Cesare Sersale has become an unmissable stop for lovers of Margherita and Marinara, the two iconic recipes that have never left the menu. After winning over London, New York and Los Angeles, Antica Pizzeria Da Michele has chosen the Bastille district for its very first restaurant in Paris.
The taste of Naples on rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine
In this new Paris location, Neapolitan pizzaiolos prepare each dough following the same ritual as in Naples. The wood-fired oven enhances simple yet exceptional ingredients: tomatoes from Campania, creamy fior di latte, fresh basil. The generous 35 cm pizzas arrive at the table steaming hot and fragrant, in a lively atmosphere reminiscent of southern Italy’s convivial spirit.
A culinary experience already iconic
It was at Da Michele that Julia Roberts, in the film Eat Pray Love, famously declared her love for a Margherita. More than ten years later, the Paris opening is met with the same enthusiasm: queues forming from day one, excitement among Neapolitan expatriates, and curiosity from Parisians in search of authenticity. No endless menu here—just one promise kept: to find in Bastille the genuine taste of Naples.
